SSAW Edinburgh is meeting every two weeks to discuss political issues and to plan future events. If you are interested in coming along please get in touch (see contact page).

There is a public meeting on military recruitment in the pipeline, watch this space for more details.

Fife events:

SSAW Fife is our newest group and is in search of members all over Fife, if you are interested please get in touch by emailing fife@ssaw.org.uk or calling Mhairi on 07845960177.

SSAW FINACIAL APPEAL
Running a fighting organisation like SSAW costs money. Leaflets, stickers, placards, holding meetings, hiring coaches; it all has to be paid for. The fact that SSAW is growing has also made the running of the organisation a more costly business. You can help by:

 Doing collections at your school or college, at meetings held in your area. (Stop the War activists really appreciate us schoolies.) Get down to local Stop the War meetings. Make them dig deep). Send the dough into School Students against War, C/O Stop the War Coalition, 27 Britannia Street, London WC1X 9JP.
 Taking out a regular standing order. This means we know that every month we have a regular income. We suggest £5 a month; that’s like a pound a week, the cost of a bar of chocolate. E-mail SSAW, and we’ll send you a form.

If you cannot commit to a standing order (and we recommend you do), perhaps you would like to give us a one off payment or maybe some of your teachers or parents would. Please make chques payable to School Students Against War and send to the above address.
